Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yeah. I like this one. I wanted to try the SHS clay cleanser but it disappeared from the site before I had chance to. I wasn't sure about this one as my skin isn't exactly oily per se, but after persistent breakouts on my chin for the last goodness knows how many months I was willing to give it a shot. And I'm so glad I did! The other reviews are correct in that it doesn't foam up and needs a bit of effort to wash off so I just use it in the shower. It's perfect in the evening or after a workout, I let it sit for a few minutes then use a muslin to wipe it away under the shower stream so in that sense it's more like a clay mask. Skin doesn't feel tight afterwards, just clean and for the first time since before summer my chin is free of spots! I was having one or two pop up every day so this is a total revelation. I will certainly be reordering this one. Perhaps BP just need to update the description and intended use so buyers know what to expect :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Deep clean feeling Cleanser addict over here! I’ve previously used the other clay cleanser BP did, the name escapes me but I think this is pretty much the same. On particularly oily days or days when I need my make up to stick around for a while, I go for this cleanser. I leave it on for a couple of minutes (while I brush my teeth), foam it up with some water, give my face a good clean and then rinse it off with a flannel. I loved the old one, I love this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not the worst cleanser in the world. I don't think this is as bad as the 2.5 average review score would suggest. I agree with the other reviews that it's really hard to wash off, although I've found that if you ignore the instructions on the tube to apply it to dry skin, but apply it to wet skin instead, it comes off easier. Unlike several other BP cleansers, it does actually remove make up, even without a washcloth (although you will need one to remove the cleanser itself if you start from dry skin) without leaving skin feeling dried out (mine, anyway). I do think it is having a difference on my complexion in terms of brightness, so there is a possibility I will buy again. The fact that it is both vegan and clean beauty is a plus for this for me as well. I wanted to try the other new SHS foaming cleanser, but the inclusion of yogurt (why?) in the ingredients means I won't be going there. More of this sort of thing would be great, but with instructions that are workable on the tube, please. Oh, and I like the tube too. Much better than the unnecessary pump thing on the Jeju cleanser. that feels like it will never break down.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as good as SHS cleanser I bought this as a replacement for the Super Healthy Skin Cleanser, and I was hugely disappointed. This leaves my skin feeling tight and irritated, and I will not be able to use the rest.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Could be better..! I was really looking forward to using this cleanser as I love the Dr Glycolic range and I love an acid based cleanser, having used a few from different brands. I agree with others who have commented that this is more of a mask and is difficult to remove easily. I haven't used this daily, but I have noticed some red marks below my skin on my forehead after using (this has been the only new product I have introduced recently). I will probably use as a mask, but sadly won't repurchase.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meh... Was really excited to try this as I love the toner but this is just, well, meh. It takes ages to wash off and doesn't seem to do anything really. I think its actually more of a mask than cleanser but even then they clay mask is better. The SHS Cleanser was much better, its just now taking up space on a shelf... disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn’t wash off properly Bought this product hoping for it to be similar to Super Healthy Skin Deep Purifying Cleanser, which I loved but it’s no longer available on the website. Unfortunately this product is a poor alternative, as it doesn’t wash off properly - takes ages to get the residue off your face. Stopped using after a week.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not fit for purpose I bought this product around a month ago, previously I was using the Super Healthy Skin Cleanser (that has White Clay & Kaolin also). I thought I would give this new Dr Glycolic Cleanser a try as I suffer from adult acne and my skin responds well to Glycolic Acid (currently using their Dr Glycolic Toner - which is amazing!) however I noticed after two weeks I was breaking out more then usual and at first I didn’t make the connection in my change of cleanser, putting it down to winter… however after switching back to use the little left of my Super Healthy Skin Cleanser my skin is clearing up again and now it appears they have discontinued it because I can’t find it anywhere on the website which is highly frustrating. Having had a look through other skin cleansers they currently offer in the acne section, the ingredients are not really up to par for acne skin. I’m not sure where the problem starts and ends with this cleanser it doesn’t wash off properly and I used a facial cloth to remove it every time, it also doesn’t foam at all really whereas I found the Super Health Skin cleanser did.
