Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long lasting, great value This is a earthy and citrus forward scent. Quite distinctive and lasts all day. Really large bottle, nice packaging, will absolutely buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lavish ! I bought this fragrance a few weeks ago and am REALLY loving it :-) It doesn't overpower - just goes own lightly and dissipates gradually throughout the day. I love the spicy, sweet figgy note - it's just a delightful fragrance overall. The bottle is also quite cute , very classic and minimalist.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Different from the sampler kit The sample from the sampler kit seemed to have different base note composition, which I preferred much more. Also, the scent lasted much longer, 4 instead of <2h. I like the packaging and the top notes, but I was hoping for a fragrance exactly as the tester sample.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a really beautiful summer perfume I had been thinking about joining Beauty Pie when I saw this perfume featured in a video about summer fragrances on the Instagram account of a British beauty journalist who writes for a major newspaper. I really trust her reviews so I decided then to sign up for Beauty Pie. This is a really lovely summer fragrance, it feels very fresh. I don't think it has the best staying power, as other reviewers have commented, but its important to remember that we become used to smells we are surrounded by very quickly so that we can focus our mental energy on other things - the term for this is olfactory adaptation. That said, however, I do think that because of the way they are being manufactured now (i.e. changes to what ingredients are allowed for health reasons and increased awareness that some people are sensitive to fragrances) perfumes do not have the staying power they once did. The other summer fragrance I purchased this year (also mentioned in the aforementioned IG video coincidentally) was $180 for 100 ml and has the same staying power as this one for $19.10. I suspect that making fragrances a little bit more inconspicuous is a deliberate move on the part of the fragrance industry to avoid limits being placed on their use, for example some work places encourage people not to wear perfumes and others outright ban them all together. I really like that Beauty Pie didn't wrap the box in any additional plastic. The packaging is very luxe, with the side of the box featuring the various top, middle, and base notes that make up this perfume. The bottle has a nice weight to it and is very similar in design to my other, much more expensive summer perfume. The magnetic top is a nice touch. I will definitely reorder this when I run out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the scent! This scent is very familiar. It's eerily similar to Byredo's Bal d'Afrique. However, it's a little more citrusy and light, the wear time that is. Of course, Bal d'Afrique lingers more and is warmer. But, the Brazilian Lime, Fig Leaves & Tea eau de parfum is a nice affordable companion.
