Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant Lipbalm My lips are usually pretty dry, and this is particularly the case at the change of the seasons when the weather gets a bit colder. I've tried loads of lip balms, both budget and high end, and in terms of effectiveness this is one of the best I've used. It is genuinely moisturising, rather than being a slick that sits on top of your lips. It doesn't like off or move around, and a little goes a long way. I put it on at night and in the morning as a part of my regular skincare routine, and will be buying another pot to keep in my bag for during the day. Another win from BP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Moisture and shine I’ve had this for a month and really like it. It’s got a lovely silky feel to it, really easy to apply. It lasts a good while once on so you aren’t constantly topping up. It also adds a nice subtle shimmer/shine to your lips which isn’t gloss-like, it’s more like an oil? It’s lovely regardless! I’ve used it under lipstick a lot and I find it dulls the lip colour a little, but this is standard for balm in my experience. Well worth the money

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth glossy lips Amazing lip balm goes on super smooth leaving your lips feeling glossy and protected. Highly recommend this lip balm. Non sticky too

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Makes me sneeze, my nose run and itchy I like the heaviness of this lip balm, it gives a good coating, but within about 5-10 minutes of putting it on it makes my nose run and sneeze like I have a heavy cold. My nose also itches like mad. I have to wash it off and can no longer use it. There is obviously a chemical in it that doesn't agree with me. Just to clarify, I'm not putting it on my nose!A shame to have wasted the money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing I don't really like anything about this lip balm unfortunately. The nicest thing about it is the jar, but it is hideously overpackaged - I think the glass base of the jar is thicker than the lip balm! And that's saying something, since this is more like wax than balm and I don't find the heavy texture pleasant. It doesn't moisturise very well and, counterintuitively given the weight of the formula, it doesn't feel like it sticks around very long either! It smells of cheap coconut oil and would be better priced at 99p.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sticky and leaves a visible white sheen I bought this in January and it's still near enough full, which says it all! It is cheap enough but I found it to be unpleasantly sticky. It also leaves a white sheen on my lips which looks very odd. When I could resist the urge to immediately wipe it off, I didn't notice any softening benefits unfortunately. I'll save it for cuticles.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not convinced This product is a mixed bag for me. It's solid and hard to apply and then it feels a bit sticky. It gives moisture but doesn't seem to last as long. Have gone back to my Body Shop lip butters as these are best for last thing at night before bed

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great for night time I have dry flake lips most of the year and will us a lip balm of some sort constantly, esp evenings if I wore lipstick during the day. This leaves a odd white cast on my lips but is a “nice” nourishing consistency. Somehow it’s not as good as others at hydrating the lips. I find the lip oils better. The balm can easily migrate outside the lips but that’s not a problem during the evening but the reason why I would not use it during the day.
